Wellbeing rooted in community

The Kinship Project is a Community Interest Company (C.I.C) creating spaces where people can come together, feel connected and make a little more room for themselves.

From movement and sound to workshops, gatherings and good old-fashioned conversation, we’re here to make wellbeing feel more human, more accessible and a little less like something you have to do on your own.

Meaningful Impact

We are dedicated to fostering a community where wellbeing is a shared priority. Through our kinship model, we provide a nurturing environment that supports mental health and collective growth. Our mission is to create lasting positive change by empowering individuals to thrive within their local environment and beyond.

Kinship started with us

We’re Emily and Raquel - two mums who know that life can be full, messy, expensive and sometimes a bit lonely.

Β

We’ve both experienced what it’s like to live on a low income while trying to create a good life for our families. And we’ve also experienced how much can your life can change for the better when you find the right people.

Β

Some of our most meaningful friendships, support networks and chosen family have grown from simply attending classes, groups, workshops and gatherings. Places where we walked in not knowing anyone and left feeling truly understood and heard.

That’s a big part of why we created The Kinship Project.

Β

We wanted to create the kind of spaces that we had found so valuable ourselves: somewhere welcoming, down to earth and accessible.Β

Β

Somewhere you can come alone or with a friend, try something new, meet people, have a chat, move your body, make something, rest, laugh or simply exist alongside other humans.
